A froobie reskin of Ben Neal's K11 to CNR. The K-11 hails from around 1910 to 1911. The design is somewhat similar to the earlier K-3 class, but with a notable distinction: K-11s had short, 69 inch drivers; this driver size was a perfect fit as the engines were intended to be used in both freight and passenger service. These machines found a niche, and were used in both freight and passenger service into the 1950s. I did not find any mention of any being sold to other (non-subsidiary) railroads, but considering how H-5 2-8-2s wandered, some K-11s probably were sold to second owners at some point. If not, there were similar engines in service on a few other roads.

From a Forum post by bdaneal: ... so I'm open to anyone including the meshes as long as they credit the source. Anyone can release a reskin or update with the same restriction - credit for the original mesh and texture. I'm not as concerned about intellectual property rights as I once was because, well, I'm not doing anything with Trainz anymore. Because of that lack of interest and my laziness in responding to requests for permission (there are a lot that I have missed or forgotten to respond to), I've been meaning to write a new license. Maybe something like: This content is free to use and modify for noncommercial use. No part of any asset may be used in any commercial product. For freeware modifications, credit Ben Neal for the original mesh and texture and upload to the Auran Download Station or TPR Download Depot - no permission is required."
