A session for the Carrier Operations demonstration map. This has the Aircraft triggers set to the correct settings to operate the aircraft as from a carrier. The session is not set up for AI, the aircraft operate best using manual control. See the config files of individual aircraft for trigger setting values that operate animations on the aircraft - more below.

You can taxi aircraft to and from the hangar and flight decks using the side elevator. Taxi the planes to either catapult at less than 5 kph and the carrier will automatically activate the animations and launch the aircraft. Landing the aircraft at speeds less than 140 kph will stop the aircraft on the flight deck - speeds greater than that will cause the aircraft to miss the landing and they will be automatically accelerated to go around again, a bolter - more below.

The Osprey and helicopters can use the lift table behind the carrier island for takeoff. Please use the Scenery menu question mark button in Surveyor and click on the carrier for a popup help screen showing how to attach track to modify the track arrangement for your own use.
