The GER was an early adopter of steel underframes for their goods wagons with wooden framed goods wagons being pretty much gone from their wagon stocks by 1910 except for some still used as departmental vehicles. During the post WW1 to Grouping period the GER started to vacuum fit and through pipe fit some of their goods wagons and vans so this wagon is representative of a post WW1 piped wagon.
Merchandise traffic paid the bills on the GER with coal traffic running in a distant second place which is the reason why I've made yet another GER merchandise wagon.
Uses Jack Barber's high detailed early bogey
so don't expect this to run on a lower end laptop.
