A variant of the class 474 EMU, the class 474/6 is part of the 47x series of EMUs built by Quantum Systems. Built as part of Hayden Trains' massive order to replace all mk3 and earlier EMUs from the network, these units work the local services out of Bromingham Central and along the Coldon Valley line, as well as an extra order being placed for Colbourne Rail to provide extended electric services.
22 units were built by Quantum Systems, and 10 are currently in service with Hayden Trains working Local services on the Coldon Valley line, and 12 in service with Colbourne Rail.
