Coach #3 was one of a set of four(Combine 1, Coaches 2-4) bought from Barney & Smith in 1884. They were bought to celebrate the opening of the line's passenger service in the fall of that year; however they did not arrive until the late spring of 1885 due to a record snow year. #2 could be seen in the set until the late 1910's when the stock was replaced with a group of larger Pullman cars. The Pullmans were used until the start of the Great Depression when passenger traffic plummeted, and the cars 1-4 were brought back into play. Often in the Depression engines could be seen hauling only cars 1 and 2; there wasn't enough traffic for the other two. Cars 3-4 and the Pullmans were sold off in 1934, and five years later the line closed after a long struggle.
