This asset represents a flyover build for the 'HSL south' (High Speed Line between Amsterdam and Paris). It can be found North of Breda on the East side of highway A16 (E19).
At this point the HSL uses the Belgian 'left hand driving' standard while the Dutch use 'right hand driving'. In order to connect Breda to the HSL (to make a 'local' high speed line possible), a flyover was built that connected the outermost tracks without running the risk of a collision or lockdown of the tracks in between.
Total asset length: 700m.
Flyover length: ~490m.
West-side 2-track clearance: 5.8m.
East-side 2-track clearance: 7.5m (enough for double-stacked containers).
Asset can be raised (concrete and rain pipes have been extended 1.5m into the ground) for re-use purposes.
