The BLUE COMET version. You need to run engine without having coal & water tender car in order to turn through the turntables with another freight car. Here is the schedule for JR Joe. Hentis's schedule is similar to the following:
JR Joe first needs to free up his Receiving dock area & that means moving the CN train stationed there as well as the second tender car into the siding that his Blue Comet is currently on. So,switch over to Stenke for a minute and move him out of the way..Backup the Blue Comet up a bit to pickup its tender car and then pull out . Now you also need to back up the other engine and go pick up the blue comet tender car that is sitting alone on the dock. You can be moving the blue comet out of the way and starting it on its journey as you do these steps. I suggest going slowly. Now finally you move Cafe into the Spot that the Blue Comet started out from.. Adjust all of the junctions correctly , and think ahead for the next time you will come down the same track. Note you have a spare tender car on one of the 3 tracks found at the dock. It is filled with water for emergency refills if you should find you are in need of one after dropping off a boxcar. So, now you need to get the tender car that you have attached to your engine FILLED up with coal and water. You fill up the tender car with both Water & Coal down along the coal mining tracks. First you go and get coal at JTR Coal mine's #2 track . Now you follow the tracks out of the mine again to stop and get Water also. Check the tender car water and fuel after doing this step. Next you are taking the tender car to drop it off somewhere along track that leads to your outer supply dock. You need to put enough COAL and WATER into the engine to allow you to seperate from the tender car while making your next trips. Remember the Recieving dock has water only. You need to spin your Comet so it is facing to back out of Receiving Dock & Then use the other engine to manuever its tender car over to line up with the blue comet. Put it back on the sidetrack when you are done filling the Comets water level up. This can be done ,carefully, simultaneosly to the comet pulling out of the receiving dock area. Otherwise the game play has the same rules as on all the other
session maps.
So, the next task is to take an important Caboose ( found on Locomotive #4 track near his
Supply Dock ) over to the Executive Site down along the Coal Route and drop it off there at
the proper siding provided for it .Pay for the trip is $2500 . He then heads back to his
supply dock where six more Freight cars are waiting to be taken, one at a time, to the
Mine's DockB . You need to travel along the Supply route and stop at a one of the Outposts
to do a small package delivery along the way. Once you arrive at Turntable2 ,you spin
around in it and find you are facing the Yellow Track route that leads you back to DockB.
They want 2 Boxcars on each track by the end of the work shift and they don't care how it
is done as long as it is done Safely !! Pay is $1500 + $ 350 for the package delivery to an
outpost = $1850 for each load taken from the supply dock to the mine. You may decide not
to take the package to the outpost, it is up to you if you want the extra cash. Also please note the men at the mine have been finding lately the T-Bone steaks that they ordered through SWIFT meat packers seem to be turning into Hamburger somehow before they
make it to the cookhouse . ---Version 1 bc (BLue Comet)
