DONJ No 2, Upland steam engine.

In 1887 DONJ took delivery of Upland. Upland was originally manufactured in 1883 by Nyydqvist & Holm in Trollhättan for the Lena-Nortelje Railroad but was sold to DONJ after a few years.

Upland holds the dubious distinction of being DONJ:s weakest locomotive, even weaker than the No 1 Jädraås.

In 1912 the locomotive was upgraded with Knorr air brakes and our model shows her around 1920.

No 2 served until 1930 and was finally scrapped in 1934.

The model is equipped with STL Narrow Gauge couplings.
That means that couplings and air hoses are animated.

In order for the model to work properly you have to download certain files from the Swedish E-buzz forum as you will not find them on DLS.
