Chicago Metro commuter car VI. Passenger view added. Passenger KUID fixed. 'Chicago Metro' is a fictional railroad, not affiliated with Metra or any other real world company.

Original bi-level Southern Pacific car by ProTrainz.

The Chicago & Northwestern Railroad introduced push-pull commuter operations about 1960, with a modified coach weighted with extra ballast and incorporating a cab and control stand to operate the engine remotely. When the train reaches the end of the line, instead of turning around the engineer shifts control to the cab car and operates from there, with the engine pushing backwards all the way to Chicago at high speeds. Other railroads adopted the practice and today Metra operates the same way, running normally from Chicago to the suburbs then backing up into the city.
