This is a 1 to 1.5 hour player session for the Dearnby & District v2.2 Revised (bus+steel) route by lataxe. It is best played in DCC mode. You are also advised to complete it in one go as saving / resuming is likely to result in unpredictable behaviour. If you need to take a break, simply pause the session and un-pause when you are ready to continue.

IMPORTANT: Both the session and the underlying route utilise assets from the Settle and Carlisle DLC pack. Other dependencies can be downloaded from the DLS.

Today you are Dave, the driver of a Class 20 diesel. Your duties comprise taking a loaded steel and cable train to Westacott Engines, where you will need to unload the freight before preparing a second consist for onward dispatch beyond Cross Gates.

The session includes basic instructions concerning the tasks to be performed. However, there is no heavy hand-holding, point scoring or penalising, and how you choose to complete the tasks, and at what pace, is entirely up to you. Do, however, keep away from the main lines when performing tasks within the yards and obey all signals once you are outside them.

Loading / unloading of goods will be automatic, provided that you have pulled up to the correct location and come to a halt.

Anyone is free to adapt / expand this session provided that any derived session remains freeware.
