In December 1994 ROBX wagons numbered 25, 34, 87, 115, 167, 181, 215, 223, 227, 230, 239, 242, 255, 270, 276, 290, 297, 298, 301, 308, 339, 354, 361, 364, 387, 390, 391, 408, 414, 420, 430, 439, 446, 448, 1005, 1046, 1090 and 1112 entered the workshops for their bodies to be removed and twist locks fitted, in late January 1995 the first group converted left the workshops coded as RKLX Steel Traffic Container Wagons keeping their original ROBX numbers, these wagons mostly ran on the Broad Gauge between Melbourne and Long Island under National Rail Corporation with a few on the Standard Gauge with the last group out of the Workshops by April 1995.
