Victorian Railways 'New' R Class was built by Robinson Bros South Melbourne 1889/91.

This model represents the 'New' R Class Tender between 1910 to 1924 in a dirty Canadian Red, the tender is an ex Y class one that ended up being swapped with an RY Class during rebuilding. This tender is to be used with 'VR R3 t1a 1910', known locos with ex Y class tenders are RY 477 and RY 493.
