The Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST is a class of steam locomotive designed by Hunslet Engine Company for shunting. The class became the standard British shunting locomotive during the Second World War, and production continued until 1964 at various locomotive manufacturers.
This reskin kit allows you to produce our own liveries. It includes false colours to help identify which parts of the texture map to which parts of the model. It also has some components as separate meshes so that you can choose whether or not to include them in your model, or move them around using position tags.
To create a create a cabview for your reskin simply clone the plain black Austerity cabview and replace Austerity.png with your edited version.
To create bogies for your reskin you can use any of the existing Austerity bogies as a base (these are easier to reskin thanb the main loco).
PLease note that this reskin kit does not give you permission to upload reskins. You must still contact edh6 (via the Trainz forum or Discord) to get permission to release your reskin.
Thanks to PaulHobbs and Trainboi1 for their mesh library elements, many of which have been used in the model.
