121030 'St Erth' in fictional FGW livery.
121030 'St Erth' normally runs as a pair with 121021 'St Ives' to operate the heritage service on the St Ives Branch line in cornwall during the summer.
FGW bought the two 121s from network rail, they were subsequently refurbished, including interlocking mechanisms added to the doors. Upon completion of the refubishment, they were named after the two towns at each end of the branch line, St Ives being 121021 and St Erth being 121030.
They were then set to work on the branch line, as well as being popular with the enthusiast fraternity, these units have also appealed to tourists as well due to the large windows offering panaramic views of the hayle estuary.
Occasionally these units are also used on driver training.
(Please note the above is fictional and the St Ives Branch line doesnt operate 121s)
