A stock race to enable the transfer of livestock between NSWGR stock wagons and a trucking yard located on ground 3.1m above the railhead.
The trucking yard served by the race is 'combined' in that the yard enclosures were not dedicated to one type of animal. The race had a larger lower channel to serve both a) CW and BCW wagons holding cattle, and b) the low-level cages of GSV and BSV wagons holding sheep or pigs. The race's smaller upper channel served the high-level cages of GSV and BSV wagons.
The spacing between the 2 race channels matches the spacing between high- and low-level cage doors, so that the wagon upper and lower cages of GSV and BSV wagons can be un/loaded simultaneously.
There are no yard fences and gates in the model. Use the following accessory assets to form yards tailored to each site:
<kuid:368725:30149> NSW trucking yard fence spline, old wood, 4 rails of 4.75x2in
<kuid:368725:30151> NSW trucking yard fence spline, old wood, 4 rails of 8x3in
<kuid:368725:20486> NSW NSW trucking yard fence gate, 5ft, with hanging post
<kuid:368725:20487> NSW trucking yard fence gate, 5ft, no hanging post
<kuid:368725:20489> NSW NSW trucking yard fence gate, 10ft, with hanging post
<kuid:368725:20490> NSW trucking yard fence gate, 10ft, no hanging post
When forming the trucking yard, make sure the fence spline encloses each of the 2 blue Surveyor-only planes that represent the footprints for the animal herds that use the high and low race channels.
