A wooden, 10-bin elevated coal bunker of a standard modular NSWGR design. A 10-bin bunker of this type, but varying in some details, was commissioned at Eveleigh in the early 20th century to top-up engine coal prior to whistle out from the loco depot. The bunker was replenished by propelling bottom-dump coal wagons up a wooden trestle that led to the top of the bunker.
The wooden trestle can be constructed using <kuid:368725:30087> 'NSWGR trestle deck spline, single track' in conjunction with the pier series that starts with <kuid:368725:20331> 'NSWGR wooden trestle bent (pier) for inclines, double storey, 32ft'.
