An animated model of a manually-operated road gate designed and built by NSWGR in the mid 20th century.
The gate OPENS anti-clockwise and can be oriented to open inward (toward the railway track) or outward. The user must position the gate to avoid fouling the railway line or stopped cars when the gate is opening and closing.
Intended for use as one part of a kit allowing the assembly of crossings tailored to their locations.
If not used as part of a crossing kit, open the Properties editor and toggle the 'Gate stands alone' property to 'TRUE'.
The kit comprises the following KUID 368725 assets:

20385 - NSWGR railway crossing boom gate, righthand
20519 - NSWGR railway crossing road gate pair, manual

Also important for the kit's operation is KUID:76656:70010 'Directional Trigger'.
To operate successfully as part of the kit this asset must be associated with a 'crossing control' asset. The association is formed through a naming convention. See the 'description' information of a crossing control asset in this kit for details.
