In 1948, a batch of approx. 250 GSVs were built, the body style remained the similar as earlier GSVs, but they were fitted to the postwar standard 10ft wheelbase auto coupled steel underframe.
This model is fitted with hook and chain couplings, which is not historically accurate for the 1948 GSV design. It is provided for compatibility with trains using hook and chain couplings. GSV mocel <kuid:368725:15040> has auto-coupling knuckle couplers.
According to tech sheets, 50 sheep could be fitted into both the lower and upper decks. This model allows only 25 sheep per deck.
Running numbers ranged from 26532 to 26774 for the 1948 design. For this hook-coupler ahistorical version, per-1948 running numbers have been used: 22034 to 22241.
Asset v3 is for use in TRS22 sessions using <kuid2:368725:25048:4> 'NSW combined livestock yard and bi-level race to track level' and <kuid2:368725:25049:4> 'NSW combined livestock yard and bi-level race to raised level'
