A Queensland Railways K bogie cattle wagon - built of timber construction at Ipswich Railway Workshops; this type was first built in 1885 with subsequent batches built up to 1921. Had a capacity for up to 16 head of cattle. These types had long lives, as they outlasted steam and survived into 1985 when all wooden bodied wagons were retired from traffic due to increasing network standards.
