A Queensland Railways Composite - CL from 1909 to 1910. They were informally known as 'Davidsons' after the longest serving Queensland Railway Commissioner; Davidson. Represented in this model is the traditional CL type, they worked the entire state and outlived the steam locomotives that hauled them. In 1981, Some of these CL sitting carriages were converted to BL for the Cairns - Kuranda Tourist trains.This model is based of preserved CL 746 which is under the care of QR Heritage, Ipswich Railway Workshops.
*Updated* Model now includes, seats, toilets and full carriage interior view in both 1st & 2nd Compartments.
