PKP Bwxz 111A passenger coach. The most succesfull and popular polish passenger coach, produced by HCP Poznan since 1967. The cars were invented as first to go with new international UIC norms introduced in 1968. The 111A class became PKPs first 2nd class passenger coach and remains in this role till today. The 111A class hold 80 seats for passengers and is used on all kinds of traffic from super local to euro city. After 2003 the cars were moved to express and local service since of their age. Some were modernised by PKP IC with new doors and interiors and are used with higher speed.
