A renameable station platform nameboard, 10.5 x 2.5 feet, with supporting posts, based on the M&GN type N3, made of cast concrete, introduced from the early 1920's. By the mid-1930's all M&GN nameboards were of this type. This is an LNER-period example with white letters on a black background; earler these colours were reversed.
