Miscellaneous Accessory Series Tea-chest Group 1
One of a new series of bits and bobs collecting together some of the smaller items I've made but never released until now, or filling gaps in the list of common British items which only exist in lower build numbers.
Until the recent arrival of retail plastic crates and boxes, recycled tea-chests were a common source of durable packing container (as well as helping to fuel the growth of rock and roll in the 50s due to their use as home-made bass instruments in skiffle groups). Not without their disadvantages - both the thin sharp metal strapping and misplaced protruding nails were the cause of many a minor injury - the tea-chest was the mainstay of many a house move and light commercial delivery ffor much of the twentieth century. Here's a haphazardly placed group ready for loading or delivery.
This version is made in build 2.9 for compatibility with older versions of Trainz and distribution via jatws.org. A later build will be available via the DLS.
