Modular Factory Kit Metal Box Arbroath Fire Escape
Earlier models in this series (all of which share the prefix MFK MBA) have a fuller description of the factory and its location.
I'd really intended to leave this out, because I knew it was going to require some stretching of techniques, but also because there are fire escapes at each end which are different. But knowing the prototype well from passing it regularly means that the model just looks wrong to me without the steps in place. After a bit of head-scratching, I've come up with this compromise by making a unit that can be used for both sides by 'losing' the inside banister rail within the abutting wall: furthermore I've configured it so that the unit can be stacked to suit it to higher buildings as well. As the screeshot shows, there's a special variant of the side wall with the door at the correct height.
