Whole streets of single-storey villas can be found in most Scottish towns in detached, semi-detached and terraced configurations. The basic unit shown on the left can be customised in the exactly same way as the two-storey models, although the level of most accessories will need to be lowered. The version on the right has one of the basic porches 'as is', but the spacer units, chimneys, dormers and bays have all been 'dropped down' to match the unit's height.
