MT Terrace Small Pair Brick 3
Thse tiny 'two up, two downs' are a version of terraces found particularly (though by no means exclusively) in mining areas of England and Wales.
In this variation, the back walls have a coal delivery hatch and the bricked up remains of the port from which 'night soil' would be collected from the ash-closet privy in the days before mains drainage.
The thumbnail shows two pairs, to demonstrate the front and back.
Thanks to Paulsw2 for the photo from which I derived the brick texture, John Whelan for his encouragement and borderreiver for the original inspiration and further information.
