WHR BRO SB BC West Highland Railway Bridge of Orchy Station Building Green and Ivory
Many of the station buildings on the West Highland Railway in Scotland were based on a standard design inspired by stations in the Swiss Alps, and thus often described as 'chalet-style'. Nearly all were situated on island platforms, as here, hence the double facing.
Though the pattern is immediately recognisable, nearly every building has unique variations and later alterations. This one is based on the version at Bridge of Orchy (now serving as a hikers' bunkhouse), with an extra central window and open end-screens. Thw layout and textures are based on research during a visit in July 2012.
The model is normal-mapped and has LOD and nightmode
