This model represents the electric full barrier type WSSB eVS63. In contrast to the type WSSB HS64, which is used exclusively as a train-operated half barrier, this is a manually operated full barrier (eVS63) or a call barrier (eAS63). Visually, the difference to the HS64 type can only be seen at second glance. For example, the boom holder is somewhat wider and the balancing device is located inside, which makes the attachment of weights to the boom holder obsolete. The motor housing also differs in that it has bulges for the stops of the boom holder and the mounting of the balancing device. In addition, the barrier beams are either box-shaped or round.
The implementation
During my research on site and in the literature I found completely different versions and descriptions of the barrier lengths. In order to meet the demand for variety as well as the requirements of a performant design in 3D, I followed the description in 'Eisenbahnsicherungstechnik Transpress 1987' as far as possible.
So this set now contains barrier lengths of 3m,5.5m,7m and 8.5m with barrier trees in partly round shape or as box shape.
This object library should invite you to create your own level crossing objects. Be it a MOCrossing object or scenery objects for various script controls. If something needs to be added or replaced, feel free to contact me.
