Mk1 Kitchen Buffet (RKB) - reskin by paulsw2 to run in consists using Mk2C coaches (available at JATWS.org). Original model by Steve Dark (mesh) and Alexander Barnard (textures). I'm grateful to Steve for his permission to reskin and redistribute this model. I'm also grateful to Mike Banfield for permission to use a portion of his Mk1 texture.

53 Restaurant Kitchen Buffets, RKB (diagram 25) were built in 1961 to meet changing public demand for more provision of light refreshments rather than a sit-down two or three course meal in a restaurant car. Therefore, this catering vehicle features a large kitchen, a buffet bar and circulation area but no seating or tables. In traffic, it would have run with a full restaurant car. All bar three were allocated to the Eastern and London Midland regions.
