British Railways built over 1000 insulated fitted 'Insulfish' vans in multiple batches in the 1950s and early 60s. This 12T van was built to diag. 800, originated by the LNER. When wet fish traffic ceased on the East Coast in the late 1960s, about 200 of these vans were converted to 'Special Parcels Vans' (SPV - TOPS code NRV) to run at mainline speeds with other parcel vehicles. The diagram 800 SPVs only lasted to the end of the 1970s, though the later diagram 801s lasted into the 1980s.
This model was originated by Ron Hesser and my thanks to him for giving permission to release this reskin.
Thanks to Frank (borderreiver) for research and reference material. The JAG System developed by Kessica is a script library being used for the lamp handling effects and ACS Coupling.
