Built in 1907 this 2-track interactive bridge is based on the Oregon Slough Bridge over
part of the Columbia River near north portland junction in Portland, Oregon. It is normally open and will
close at the approach of a train in 20 seconds. The part at a right angle to the span is the construction
frame when the moveable span was being built. These are usually removed afterwards but not always and this
one looks to be in very good shape.
