This is a much simplified version of the Quebec Bridge over the St. Lawrence River at a point
about 7 miles upriver from the Quebec Citidel. Built in 1917 this is still the longest railroad cantilever span ever
built. it was originally configured for 2 tracks. A single lane road was added sometime prior to 1929 when it was
widened to 2 lanes. In 1949 one track was removed. In 1993 the road was widened to 3 lanes and remains in this
configuration today. This is the 2 track 2 lane version.
