This is the Body section (the pic shows the complete car) of an eight 6-wheel bogey depressed center flatcar which probably never
existed (I just wanted to see if I could make it in gmax and make it work in Trainz). It is fun to watch its various sub-assemblies articulate thier way
around sharp curves and through yard throats like a centiped. It will negotiate a 50 ft radius curve. The letterings text, color, and size can be changed
by manipulating the values in the effects section of the config file mesh table. There is an attachment point (a.load0) in the center of the body. Overall
length = 162 ft. You will need a fair amount of empty track to assemble this car in Surveyor. Work from the center outward toward the ends.
1. Place Hicapyflat_14_Body (this item) on the track.
2. Place 2 Inner Bolsters (kuid2:210518:6522:1) on the track outboard of the body.
3. Place 2 Main Bolsters (kuid2:210518:6520:1) on the track outboard of the Inner Bolsters.
4. Place 2 Outer Bolsters (kuid2:210518:6521:1) on the track outboard of the Main Bolsters.
5. Rotate Inner, Outer, and Main Bolsters on one end 180 degrees so the coupler is pointed outward. All three must be rotated for proper spacing.
6. Move the Outer and Inner Bolsters underneath the Main Bolster at each end. When properly positioned there will only be one red and 1 green arrow and the
assemblies will move as units. The Main Bolster only has 1 brown arrow (red & green on top of each other seem to equal brown in Trainz).
7. Move the above assemblies under the body. Again when properly done there will only be 1 red and 1 green arrow and the entire car will move as a unit.
8. It may take a try or two but it will work.
9. I will not be offended if few Trainzers download this item (it is a bit far out).
