This single track span is based on the Connel Ferry Bridge over Loch Etive in Scotland.
This is a dual use span in that it is paved for automotive traffic in addition to the rail traffic. Even though this
span does not open, it has been done as a mocrossing so an approaching train will stop the automotive traffic.
This version has the road exiting the span at a 30 degrees angle toward the same side. Many thanks to David James
