This unusual bridge is based on the iron bridge erected in 1775 crossing the River Severen in
the village of Ironbridge in Shropshire, England. This was the first bridge to be made of cast iron parts in England
(possibly the entire world). Originally it carried horse drawn carriages and pedestrian traffic. It was repaired and
modified several times in the ensuing years. This represents it after its last set of repair/modifications. It still
exists today as a historical tourist site.
