This meter-gauge non-symetrical swing bridge is designed to cross a canal with a single
trolly track imbeded in pavement and was located near Nimy, Belgium. Clearence is approximately 20 meters/65 feet
in the open position. It is possible to have automotive traffic cross as well in the closed position.
1. Add a siding close to the bridge.
2. Spot a locomotive (a traincar won't work) on the side track within the trigger radius.
3. Set the switch for the siding.
This will keep the bridge closed for automotive traffic. When a trolly approaches within the trigger radius, set the switch
for the trolley. Many thanks to Linda Irene Tingvik (shortline2) for the pics and info.
