Endless Summer...
The session finds us high in the Dales on a splendid summer morning. As the session opens we are at the tiny quarrying hamlet of Leatherwood where the twice-daily local is about to depart and head down the steep valley bound for Dint. At Dint our train enters Platform 3, and as it was running slightly late we hurry across the platform to jump aboard the stopping passenger train standing at Platform 2. The driver has been kind enough to await our arrival, but now that we are on board, cancel his 'Wait' command and enjoy a ride down the line to Dintdale Road, a substantial junction station, where we pause for a moment before continuing on to the end of the line.
The Main Line portals spawn an endless succession of trains, selected at random. Some thunder straight through, others meander up and down the valley. There is no purpose to the session, no goal, except enjoyment. Occasionally the AI will foul thing up, sort it out, jump on any train that catches your eye, drive it's route manually, change things about, the route has a sort of 'model railway' approach insomuch as there is too much stock on the line, and way too many locomotives - grab one, make up a train, go wherever your fancy takes you, just try to not take it all too seriously and have fun....
