After 2004 PKP Inter City started experimenting with raising the quality of the trips using older coaches. Some 111A coaches were rebuilt to non-compartment untis with space for bicycles creating a new class 111ARow. These coaches are equipped with air-condtition systems, new interiors, closed toilets systems, some of them received new bogeys too. Very popular on PKP IC trains.
