After the succesfull release of the 10A sleeping coach, H.Cegielski factory in Poznan became experimenting with other variations of this class creating 11A and 13A sleepers. The 11A was designed to be only 1st class sleeping car, while 13A was dual compartment class, both 1st and 2nd class. Coaches of this kind were used by PKP till the mid 1970s when they were replaced by Gorlitz 75 sleepers by VEB. One or two units of 11A type managed to receive the new blue WARS paintscheme soon before they were removed our of service.
