British Railways had around 13,000 planked fitted standard vans built at a variety of locations, in multiple batches. These vans were found used for a plethora of tasks, and were a very common sight on the railways.
This 12T van is in the 'early' bauxite built to diag. 1/224, under a layer of weathering.
