First intoduced in 1932 The GWR 1400 Class was originally classified as ‘48xx’(Auto fitted for working with trailer cars) in 1946 they were re-numbered The ‘14xx’ Class, they were to be found on the majority of Great Western Railway's branch lines and were taken on by British Railways on Nationalisation in 1948.My thanks to Anthony (2995valliant) E-spec, Chris Sprague (nawlins),and Barrie Spence (abs77) for beta testing this model.
