Traffic Converters
This asset contains 3 'blank' meshes which contain a single attachment point (a.car). In each mesh, the attachment point has been rotated 90 degrees, so as to give attachment points at 90, 180, and 270 degrees. This is to allow non traffic compatible cars to be rotated to allow them to be used with traffic. It also allows traffic compatible cars to be rotated to allow them to be used with the 'roll' function in Surveyor.
As this asset is a mesh library, and the method of 'modifying' these assets is a TS2009 (and newer) only function (the mesh-library/mesh-asset system), and assets that are 'modified' using this pack will only function in TS2009 (and newer).
In regards to 'modifying' the asset, this does not require any actual editing of the original asset. In fact, so long as it is error free, you will not need to make any changes to it at all, nor copy any files from it. You only need to create a config.txt file (for either scenery or 'traffic', see XXX for examples) that references the mesh, and the original asset.
As the final assets will not include any of the files from either this asset, or the original asset (they will be 'dependencies', in the same way as objects used on a route), you should not have any trouble with the licenses. However, it's best to make sure by reading the license for the asset.
a 'readme.txt' file is included, which explains how to do conversions. I do plan to update this later on with more detailed documentation (with images), however I wanted to get this released first, so this basic documentation will have to suffice for the time being. To access the file, use Content Manager to open this asset for edit in explorer (right click on it, then go to 'edit', then click on 'edit in explorer), then double click on the 'readme.txt' file.
