At the Railway Supply Institute's Railway Technology Exhibition in Sept. 2008, Progress finally unveiled its 3-engine genset, model PR22B. The model features three CAT C18 engines generating 745 hp each. The locomotive touts a modular design, with easy removal of each of the gensets, and a dynamic brake option, which this locomotive is built with.
