Who hasn't seen these backed into the dock of your local Safeway, or rolling down the highway? Probably anyone under the age of 50. I used to see 'em, but that was a long time ago. Safeway left Lincoln & most if not all of Nebraska in the early 1980's, and the grocery industry went to the non-union right to work corporations. The prices didn't drop, just the wages they paid. I thought about going to work for Safeway as a diesel mechanic back in the mid eighties, I saw a mechanics wanted sign in one of their stores in CA. But I found out the regular mechanics were on strike at the time. So that wasn't going to fly...
