The aircraft tilts and banks realistically. The speed for tilting may be altered in the string table above - speeds are in kph. Note landing speed above is a fraction of full speed, eg 0.2, not kph.
It does not have an operating interior, but does have various exterior views based on an invisible interior, use the [ and ] keys from the interior view. Initially the engines are stopped, use the B key to start or stop engines. On startup, the pilot gets in the aircraft, the canopy closes, and the pilot tests the rudder and tail elevators.
The aircraft has a number of animations that can be operated by keyboard keys, or the Aircraft Action Trigger, kuid2:76656:24060:1, when placed on track and set to the correct number:
- to start engines, press the B key or use trigger setting 2. An engine start rule is also available for AI, <kuid2:60238:80004:1>.
- fire guns, H key.
- issue smoke and sound from the tyres when landing, use trigger setting 4.
- to flare the aircraft for landing, V key.
- lower tail hook, trigger setting 7.
- catapult launch, trigger setting 8.
- come to a gradual stop on landing, trigger setting 9.
- fold or unfold the wings, trigger setting 11.
- bolter, take off after missing arrester wires, trigger setting 12.
- set speed to 40% of maximum speed, for landing approach, trigger setting 14.
