'Poughkeepsie' is a terrain generated map of the New Haven RR from Goshen NY to Danbury CT via Poughkeepsie NY, where it crosses the Hudson River on the famous Poughkeepsie bridge. Thanks to Ben Dorsey for creating the 1.25 mile cantilever bridge which stands 212 ft above the river. The bridge was opened to traffic in 1888, and was abandoned after a fire destroyed 700 ft of the bridge deck in May, 1974. The route is 80 miles long, and is mostly double tracked. There are no 'Tiger Lines' shown, but small signs, indicating the location of cities and towns, have been placed along the track so that conditions in those areas, (Multiple track, yards, roads ,waterways, etc.), can be accessed using USGS topo maps. The map has 1208 baseboards, and covers 242 sq miles.
