The V/Locity has 3 drive systems, low, mid and high, the only gears is for forward and revserse, their is no clutches, the transmission works by a electronic control system which changes the flow of oil to each drive, the first drive has a torque converter to minimise slipping and maintains a constant tractive effort, the second drive will accelerate to 130 km/h and the third drive to 200 km/h, when the driver moves the throttle to idle and coasts the transmission switches to neutral.
