This session is for PortSwitchingCo 1a. All the items of rolling stock needed by the session will be downloaded from the Download Station when the session is installed.
Note: Three yellow markers represent a LARS section of track; two ProtoLARS. Freight cars will load or unload when stationary on a LARS section. If one car in the consist has been stationary on a ProtoLARS section for one minute, all freight cars in the consist will load or unload in sequence. Right clicking on the section of track will show what it programmed to produce or consume.
Charles and Harry, Train Control here. Welcome to our little show. It should get warmer as the day progresses. Your Class 37 has been prepared, but you do need to top up the fuel tanks.
In the Transfer Yard you will find the freight wagons. Shunt the two guards vans into the loop to the east of the roundhouse. I will let you work out how you want to sort them, but I suggest getting wagons of the same type together.
The steel coil in the JSA wagons is for HeavyTechIndustries; unload at the central unloading point (LARS). Unload the car carriers at the yellow car unloading ramp on the upper level (ProtoLARS).
The hopper wagons will load coal at the Bulk Terminal (LARS), and make sure the bogey bolsters are loaded with insulated containers at Frigid Coldstore (LARS).
Return all the wagons to the Transfer Yard, with the loaded wagons in one siding and the empties in another. Make sure the guards vans are at the south end of each set of wagons.
This should take a good hour. Report back when finished.
At the upper level always give priority to the trains on the main line. Take care at the three squeeze points.
Maps and a readme are included in the folder containing the session.
