This session is for Urban IndustRail 8a. All the items of rolling stock needed by the session will be downloaded from the Download Station when the session is installed. You have the choice of using either a stream or a diesel locomotive.
Twas a wild and stormy night. Well, quite stormy - certainly black, windy. Rain. Lightning. Some hail too. Not a night to choose. But the rostered engineer had called in sick, so the Dispatcher called you out an hour ago. You have looked at your orders. A couple of hours work. Should be back in your warm bed in about three hours.
You look at the train orders again -
Attach container wells in Invercargill yard.
Load containers.
Attach and load tank cars.
Proceed light engine to Invercargill Transfer, attach and load gondolas.
Proceed to Invercargill. Make up train in sequence loco, gondolas, tank cars, containers.
Proceed to Invercargill Harbor.
Unload and leave containers at main wharf.
Unload and leave gondolas at north wharf.
Proceed north to Loco Depot. Replace empty tank cars with full tank cars.
Attach empty flat cars Invercargill Harbor north wharf.
Proceed south.
Leave empty tank cars at Invercargill Conoco.
Load flat cars at Invercargill Transfer.
Leave flat cars at Invercargill Industries, south west side of yard.
Return to loco and sign off.
Class 1 railroad trains will be running at 5 minute intervals.
You are authorised to travel at up to 50mph except in yard areas where normal limits apply.
You are authorised to stop when necessary for locomotive purposes.
