This session is for Austral Bay v5a. All items of rolling stock required by the session are on the Download Station and will be installed automatically when the session is downloaded. The challenge in this session is to handle a heavily loaded train over undulating terrain without interfering with AI trainz that share the same track at numerous squeeze points. There is choice of a diesel or, for those who enjoy even more of a challenge, a steam locomotive.
A fine and sunny early morning. Your locomotive has been prepared. It should be a relatively easy day for you apart from the always laborious climb up South Pass. The Dispatchers orders are:
Proceed light engine to Limestone Quarry, Chippewa Falls.
Attach and load gondolas with limestone (maximum 12 for diesel, 5 for steam locomotive).
Proceed through Austral Bay and up South Pass.
A banker is in attendance, but is to be used only if absolutely necessary.
Unload and leave all but 2 gondolas at SevenSeven cement plant.
Attach and load cement cars, proceed to Tinkers and check for revised train orders.
Unload and leave cement cars at Cement Casting plant, Jamestown.
Unload and leave gondolas at Steel Mill, VanDenH.
Turn locomotive, attach and load container wells.
Proceed to Tinkers and check for revised train orders.
Proceed to SevenSeven, down North Pass to Acme, detach and leave single stack container well at Acme R&D.
Proceed to Huff and unload and leave container wells next to Teamsters Spur.
Light engine to Austral Bay loco and sign off.
Class 1 railroad trains will be running at 5 minute intervals.
You are authorised to travel at up to 50mph except in yard areas where normal limits apply.
You are authorised to stop when necessary for locomotive purposes.
